Our SE AZ rainy season was due to start last Saturday but it arrived a few days early. This monster mass of clouds boiled up over the Huachucas and headed straight for Whetstone. It dumped a good deal of moisture and nature came to life.
Suddenly everything was cleaner, greener and the air was full of bird song. This beautiful rainbow spanned the sky.
Gypsy and Chelsea thought they could perhaps find a pot of gold? LOL
The heavens opened up again on Saturday. I don't remember it raining for so long or that hard, the downpour sounded like a herd of buffalo pounding over our tile roof. A small river flowed along the horse lane. Thank you to everyone that offered to send rain from their area, it worked !
