Blast From Past Block Swaps

Decided to archive some blocks from way back swaps. I've been block and fabric swapping with the AboutQuilting group for almost eight years now. These bra blocks are from pretty far back. (Somewhere I have another bag full from a second swap). Some day these will get finished and donated to a women's clinic. Radiologist I worked with now works at a huge women's hospital, maybe send the finished quilt to her for the breast health clinic. It would be nice to hang where waiting patients are seated. I hope it would take their mind away from upcoming exams and worried thoughts.

Below blocks from anything goes 12 inch kitty block swap. I'm sending these to a friend in Phoenix. She sews blocks into tops and sends them to a friend to quilt. Then the finished quilt goes to a doctor who gives them to his patients. His patients are children newly diagnosed with diabetes.

Very high winds today, spoiling a beautiful spring day. Must go up and tidy inside of barn for hay delivery. Then off to grocery shop.
