Finished my swap jars and mailed to hostess.I can't wait to see what I get back.
Woke up to a few inches of snow last Sunday. Hard freeze again but not cold enough to break any pipes. Snow was mostly melted by late afternoon.
Snow melted fast but wind was cold. Hens don't seem to mind cold. They scratched around and gave nine eggs that day.
Hens wait for me to put nest boxes in coop every morning. This morning I was late.
Bantam Cochin Frizzle has gone broody. She is sitting on seven eggs now. I do hope some hatch so she has some friends her own size. All will be crosses of Dutch and Silky roos, cute I hope. ( I hope some hatch)!
Zoey, Chelsea, Wonky and Mouse went to post office with me to mail swap blocks. You can see Chelsea drove and Zoey called shotgun!
The jars are just great. Your chickens look very happy. Lovely photo of the frizzle:)
